Julia Martinčič

Julia Martinčič (b 1995) is a journalist and author.

She trained as a journalist at City University, London, and has worked as an arts journalist in the Norwegian newspapers Klassekampen and Aftenposten. She has also attended the Writing Art Academy and the Author Studies in Tromsø- In 2023 she made her debut with the collection of short stories Hjertet er en alien (The heart is an alien, 2023).

Martinčič won LitFestBergen’s international writing competition for young people in 2021, in competition with 550 contributions from all over the world.
