Timimie Märak

Timimie Märak (b 1991, Sweden) is a slam poet, activist and multi-artist.

In 2022 Märak was presented at the Venice Biennale in the project Čatnosat. The Sámi Pavilion, Indigenous Art, Knowledge and Sovereignty. Along with the curators of the Sami Pavilion, Beaska Niillas and Liisa-Rávná Finbog, Märak is the founder of the Hásstuheaddji collective, a Sami think tank that brings together thinkers, performers and artists for dialogue and reflection.
