Collective writing

Commissioned by the theatrical project Cornerstone, five Nordic authors have written a play in which different eras leak into one another, giving us an impression of the contours of a society at breaking-point, characterised by totalitarian tendencies and smouldering revolt.

The Asylum for Loss and Rapture is the working title of a play written by the five authors Tale Næss (NO), Jonas Eika (DK), Fatemeh Ekhtesari (IR/NO), Timimie Gassko Märak (Sápmi) and Henning Bergsvåg (NO). During LitFestBergen we first become acquainted with the work, which will have its world premiere during the Bergen Drama Festival in August 2024.
