Odd W. Surén

Odd W Surén (b 1961, Norway) is a Norwegian author and critic, born in Oslo and resident in Austrheim, north of Bergen.

He has written novels and short stories, and made his debut in 1985 with the short story anthology Fanger og opprørere (Prisoners and rebels). His most recent publication is the short story anthology Høvlingsmonn (Planing Space) from 2021. He is a literary critic in the newspaper Dag og Tid, and was named Critic of the Year in 2013 by the Norwegian Critics’ Association.
