Jostein Hole Kobbeltvedt

Hans Jørgen Brun

Jostein Hole Kobbeltvedt (b 1979, Norway) is Executive Director of the Rafto Foundation.

He holds a master’s degree in comparative politics from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a lower degree from the University of Oslo and the University of Bergen.

Kobbeltvedt has long experience from Norwegian Church Aid, where he has worked as development policy advisor and held other managerial posts. From 2011 until 2014 he ran the Norwegian Church Aid regional office for southern Africa, situated in South Africa.

In the period 2009–11 he was a member of the UN work group for responsible lending. He has also worked through the Peace Corps as a political advisor for the African Network on Debt and Development (AFRODAD) in Zimbabwe.
