Herborg Kråkevik

Herborg Kråkevik (b 1973, Norway) is an artiste and actor.

Herborg Kråkevik trained at the Guildford School of Acting in England and was introduced to a Norwegian audience through her collaboration with Kenneth Sivertsen in 1995. As an actor she has appeared in My Fair Lady as Eliza (DNS 1996) and in Hellemyrsfolket (The people of Hellemyr, DNS 2014). She has also featured in several films.

Kråkevik is however primarily known as a singer and cabaret artist, with recordings such as Herborgs verden (Herborg’s World, 1998) and Kråkeviks songbook (Kråkevik’s Song Book, 2000), for which she received the award Årets Spellemann, the Norwegian Grammy Performer of the Year.

Herborg Kråkevik has published the book Forteljingar (Stories), and since 2015 she has edited the Christmas booklet Juleroser (Christmas Roses).
