Helon Habila

I den siste boka The Chibok Girls: the Boko Haram Kidnappings and Islamist Militancy in Nigeria undersøker Habila kidnappinga av 276 jenter i Nigeria, utført i 2014 av den islamistiske militante gruppa Boko Haram.

In rescuing the Chibok tragedy from “mythic status,” Habila’s unusual primer quietly yet powerfully revives the call to take notice.
