Sold out. Munch: art, literature, madness

Who was Edvard Munch really? Ivo de Figueiredo may have an answer in his recently published first volume of two on the artist: Stormen, En biografi om Edvard Munch (The Storm, a biography of Edvard Munch), while in 2017 Karl Ove Knausgård published Så mye lengsel på så liten flate (So much longing on such a small surface). In the same year he curated an exhibition at the old Munch Museum in Oslo.

With Frode Sandvik, curator at the KODE art museums and composers’ homes in Bergen, the authors will take a close look at the art and life of Edvard Munch.

The conversation will be simultaneously translated into English.
