Roads in literature. Lecture by Ruth Lillegraven

Ruth Lillegraven writes crime stories with action taking place in Hardanger – in the west of the country – and in the Ministry of Justice in Oslo – in the east – both at the same time. She writes biography as poetry and poetry for children, and mixes in one book the two conventions for writing Norwegian – Nynorsk and Bokmål. In short, Ruth Lillegraven probably uses more literary genres than any other Norwegian contemporary author, and may choose to do so in one and the same work. Does that mean that she deconstructs literary genres? In this lecture the author will give an insight into the many different routes she takes into literature.

The event will be in Norwegian.
