Frode Grytten and Gunnhild Øyehaug are two award-winning writers from western Norway who both live and work in Bergen.

Their work have been translated into several languages, including English. How is their literature received abroad, in different cultures, and what is it like to see your own text in another language? Daniel Medin is a professor at the American University of Paris.
