Øystein Vidnes

Øystein Vidnes (b. 1976, Norway) is a designer, author, translator and illustrator.

He has a degree in literature and co-founded the micro-publishing house Gasspedal in 2000.He made his debut with the short story collection Bondeforteljingar in 2002 and published the novel Ekstasar in 2006.

He has translated several books, including Fernando Pessoa's Å vere ein annan and Robert Musil's Tre kvinner. For the latter, he received the Critics' Prize for best translation in 2017.
