Katrine Sele

Katrine Sele (b 1972, Denmark) is a journalist and non-ficiton author.

She has studied political science and trained in journalism at Oslo University College. From 1998 to 2013 Sele worked as a journalist in the newspaper Firda in Førde, and in 2013 she became communications advisor at Sogn og Fjordane University College.

She made her debut as an author in 2000 with the book Månen er så liten som ein katt (The moon is as small as a cat). She has since authored many books, including Jølster hotel: Historier frå eit asylmottak (Jølster Hotel: stories from an asylum reception, 2017) and Einars bok (Einar’s book, 2021).
