Ismail Mahomed

Ismail Mahomed (b 1959, South Africa) is an arts administrator and playwright.

Ismail Mahomed is the director of the Centre for Creative Art at the University of Kwazulu-Natal. He has more than 35 years of experience as an arts administrator, and is on the board of several major arts organisations in South Africa and of Campaign for Free Expression. 

He regularly writes chronicles for a variety of publications in South Africa.
