Ari Gautier

Ari Gautier (b 1965, Madagascar) is a French-speaking author from Madagascar living in Oslo.

Thinnai (2018), which was published in Norwegian in 2023, is his second novel. His books are often centred in the formerly French colonised Indian town of Puducherry, where he grew up. In addition to his work as an author he is active in the arts in Oslo with his work at Melahuset, a stage for multi-cultural arts.
