Kari Slaatsveen

Kari Slaatsveen (b 1963, Norway) is a journalist and freelancer.

She has studied at the University of Oslo and the Norwegian College of Journalism. While at the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) from 1989 to 2017, she was responsible for a number of programmes on NRK P3 and took part in TV programmes such as Løvebakken and 20 spørsmål. She has also led the Reiseradioen programme on NRK P1.

Slaatsveen was named Radio Presenter of the Year in 2005 and received the Listeners Prize from the Society for the Preservation of the Dano-Norwegian Language in 2006.
