Michael Pedersen

Michael Pedersen (b 1984, Scotland)  is a Scottish poet, scribbler, stitcher living in Glasgow. He has published two highly acclaimed collections of poetry with Polygon Books, received the John Mather's Rising Star Award (via Scottish Poetry Library), and won a Robert Louis Stevenson Fellowship. He’s had work anthologised by the likes of Pan MacMillan and Canongate Books, and was a finalist for the 2018 ‘Writer of the Year’ at The Herald Scottish Culture Awards. His writing has attracted plaudits from voices as varied as: Irvine Welsh, Jackie Kay, Stephen Fry and Charlotte Church. Pedersen also co-runs and co-founded the literary collective Neu! Reekie!, who've been launching literary rockets for nearly ten years.
