Gaute Eiterjord

Gaute Eiterjord (b 1995, Norway) is a student, activist and former leader of Young Friends of the Earth Norway. He was one of the organisers/prime movers behind the school strike and the climate lawsuit against the Norwegian government and was chair of Young Friends of the Earth Norway when it became the joint recipient with Greta Thunberg of Fritt Ord’s Prize in 2019 for their work on making the environmental campaign action-oriented. 

He published Klimaopprøret in 2020, and describes it as “a kind of guide to the climate debate”.
