What he said

How did the idea of men as the “strong sex” get established? Are the biological distinctions between the genders as great as many think – or have we been fooled by language?

In her book Inferior – How Science Got Women Wrong and the New Research That’s Rewriting the Story, science journalist and author Angela Saini shows how biased attitudes have coloured research on biology and gender. In her prize-winning book Hvem sa hva?, author and linguist Helene Uri examines how gender differences are created and maintained through language. The two authors meet gender researcher and associate professor Kari Jegerstedt in conversation.

The conversation will be in English.
