Astrid Hygen Meyer

Astrid Hygen Meyer (b 1986, Norway) is a journalist in the Norwegian newspaper Klassekampen. She has studied comparative literature and esthetics in Bergen and Oslo. She has worked as a poetry critic in NRK and in the literary magazines Bokvennen and Fett.

Hygen Meyer started in Klassekampen in 2008 and has covered literature and the book industry since 2011. In 2019 she started in the newspaper’s feature department.
